Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque, Beirut
Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque is central within downtown Beirut, almost next to St. George’s Orthodox Christian Church. It’s architectural design is based on the great Ottoman mosques particularly the Suleymaniye Mosque (which you can find under ISLAM -Turkey- Istanbul in this website.)
Although the Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque is depicted as a Sunni Mosque, we hope that soon Shia’h and other Muslims will pray here also, as they do in the Suleymaniye Mosque in Istanbul where all Muslims pray side-by-side.
